Sharing & Caring With Friends

Having Fun is Such a Scream!

, / 12

I love to play practical jokes on family and friends … especially young people!  I love to see their “startled” look on their faces and I love to have fun and laugh!  I love to watch the young kids laugh, too!

Years ago, I went to a Halloween party when I was a realtor.  I walked in, and there was a girl, Brenda, who I worked with, who was dressed all in black with the “Scream” mask on and dressed to kill.  She played the part well, actually too well! Brenda scared me to death!

Trick or treat

A few weeks later, I asked Brenda if she would give me the Scream mask (since she didn’t have any children), and I told her, I would really put it to good use.  One day, she finally gave me the mask.

At that time, my oldest daughter was a teenager finishing up high school, and my younger daughter was almost in high school.  Through like a five year period, whenever the girls had a group of friends in their room with the door closed, I would sneak up quietly with the SCREAM MASK on and scratch the door ever so slightly, and open the door and watch them die…. Well, not literally die but almost!  They loved it, almost as much as I did!  I am sure they probably needed counseling over this one – but we still giggle about it!
